For one nail tech, one table
A full set with art is two hours of your table. A 45-minute fill at 1 PM does not take 45 minutes out of it: it leaves you two hours you cannot start anything in. Chairwarden never offers that time to the fill in the first place.
Free to try, up to 15 bookings/month · calendar protection included on every plan
You searched for salon software because that is what the category is called, not because you have a salon. So here is the line, before anything else.
A regular texts at 11 for a fill at 1. You are mid-set, so your booking link is what answers, and as far as it can tell, 1 PM is free.
The fill lands inside the two hours you were holding for a full set with art.
You now have 12 to 1 and 1:45 to 2:30. Neither is a full set, and neither is worth the trip.
Your full set client moves to next week, or does not rebook. You did not lose 45 minutes, you lost the two hours.
You mark the full set as protected. After that a short booking is only ever offered the hours around it, and the client never knows the difference.
One switch decides which of these can be broken into: the Protect toggle on the service, next to its length and price.
A 45-minute fill is never offered 1 PM, whatever your quick threshold is. It sees the time before the set and the time after it.
A service at or under your quick threshold may sit inside the set instead, which is what you want for a soak-off while product cures. 30 minutes by default, movable between 10 and 60.
Taking the booking yourself always works, and is marked as an override. The edges, like closing time and the Google Calendar block, are answered in the questions below.
The longer the appointment, the more an empty table costs you. Ask for one on the long services and none on the rest.
10, 20, 25, 30, 50, 75 or 100 percent, one number for the account.
A full set can ask while a fill and a soak-off ask for nothing.
A direct charge on your own account, said out loud on the payment screen. Stripe charges its own rate.
Hold an unpaid booking for 12, 24, 48 or 72 hours, or never. Then the slot is released and the client is emailed.
What it does not do: it does not set a cancellation policy and it does not decide refunds. You are the merchant of record, so that stays your call.
A booking link for your Instagram bio, and a public page your clients use without an account.
Reminders by email on every plan and by text on the paid one, 500 a month included. The client picks which they want when they book.
Two-way Google Calendar sync, so the school run and the supply run sit on the same screen as your clients.
Client import from a CSV or an export file, with a preview before anything moves.
Monthly stats: what you took, how full the month was, and what sat inside the protected blocks.
The app on your iPhone, and the same account in any browser at the table.

Get startedFree is 15 bookings a month with no card, which is enough to put your real services in and watch a fill get refused a slot in the middle of a set.
Yes, and that is the whole product: one person per account, one calendar, one client list, one booking link. There are no staff logins, no shared diary and no shop-wide view.
Yes. A 30-minute soak-off is a service like any other and it will not be offered a time in the middle of a full set. In relaxed mode, with the quick threshold at 30, it may sit inside the set instead, which suits soaking while you work on someone else's hands.
Yes, in both modes. Anything synced from your connected calendar is never bookable, so a supply run or a school pickup cannot be booked over.
Every service has to fit inside that day's opening hours on a 15-minute grid, so a two-hour set that would run past your finish time is simply not offered. Taking it yourself always works, and is saved as an override.
No, and that is a real gap for nails. There is no photo gallery, no colour formula and no notes box: a service is a name, a length and a price. Your colour notes stay wherever you keep them now, and the booking system keeps the diary.
No app and no account for your clients: they book on your link in a browser. There is also no walk-in queue or waiting list, so if someone turns up without an appointment, that is your call at the table.
Put your services in with their real lengths, protect the long ones, and let the short ones have the time around them.
