Chairwarden is a booking app for independent beauty pros who rent a chair, booth or suite. If you write about salon business, booth rental or booking software, you can earn a recurring commission on every stylist you send our way.

Program terms
1. Commission
You earn 25% of every payment a referred customer makes for a Chairwarden web subscription, including renewals, for as long as that subscription stays active and paid. On the monthly plan ($29/month) that is about $7.25 per month; on the yearly plan ($274.99/year) about $68.75 per year. Commission is calculated on the amount the customer actually pays, after any discount.
2. What counts as a referral
A referral counts when someone arrives on chairwarden.com through your affiliate link and starts a paid web subscription within 90 days of their click. Most stylists sign up for the free plan first and upgrade later; that still counts, as long as the upgrade happens within 90 days of the click. If the same person clicks links from more than one affiliate, the last click before sign-up or checkout gets the credit.
3. iPhone app subscriptions are not eligible
Subscriptions purchased inside the Chairwarden iPhone app are billed by Apple, and our affiliate platform cannot see them, so they do not earn commission. Only subscriptions purchased on the web (chairwarden.com) are eligible. When you promote Chairwarden, point people to the website rather than the App Store if you want the referral to count.
4. Payouts
The program runs on Lemon Squeezy, which tracks referrals and pays affiliates directly. Commissions are held for 30 days to cover refunds, then paid out according to Lemon Squeezy's payout schedule once you reach the minimum payout balance. Lemon Squeezy and your payout provider (for example PayPal) may deduct their own fees. If a payment is refunded or charged back, the commission on it is voided.
5. What's not allowed
To keep the program fair, the following are not allowed and will void the related commissions: Referring yourself, or accounts you own or control. Bidding on "Chairwarden" or misspellings of it in paid search ads, or using it in domain names or social handles. Spam: unsolicited email, text messages, or comment and forum spam. Misleading claims about the product, including promising features it doesn't have or describing it as having no fees. Chairwarden takes no percentage of a stylist's payments, but card processing fees through the stylist's own Stripe account still apply. Fake reviews, incentivized reviews that aren't disclosed, or posting discount codes that weren't issued to you.
6. Disclosure
You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship wherever you promote Chairwarden, as required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidelines and similar rules elsewhere. A short, visible note such as "I earn a commission if you sign up through my link" is enough.
7. Approval and changes
Applications are reviewed by hand. We may decline an application or remove an affiliate from the program at any time, for example for breaking these terms; commissions already earned through legitimate referrals will still be paid. We may change these terms or the commission rate with at least 30 days' notice by email. These terms work together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
