For one therapist, one room

Massage booking software for a practice of 60s and 90s

Your appointments are all about the same length, so a long-block rule is not the argument here and this page will not pretend otherwise. What actually decides whether a booking system earns its keep in a treatment room is the deposit that holds a 90-minute slot, the reminder that gets the client there, and whether anyone takes a cut of your work.

The honest version, before you read any further

Most booking software pages for massage therapists promise to protect your long appointments. If your day is 60s and 90s, that promise is worth very little, so here is what this actually does for you.

It holds the slot with money

A 90-minute session is a real block of your day. A deposit taken online, before the appointment, is the part of a no-show you get to keep.

It reminds the client, not you

A text or an email in the day or two before, in your words. The reminder is the half of the no-show problem that a deposit cannot solve.

It takes no percentage

Sessions are your work. A flat monthly price does not grow when your month does, which is the difference a commission makes over a year.

If what you wanted was a marketplace that finds you clients, this is not it, and there are better tools for that.

The deposit and the reminder

Two mechanisms, and they do different halves

The deposit makes a missed 90 minutes cost something. The reminder is what stops it being missed at all. Both run without you touching them.

The deposit
  • A share you set, from 10 percent up to the full session price, and you can move the number whenever you want.
  • Switched on per service: a 90-minute deep tissue can ask for one, a 30-minute add-on can book with no card at all.
  • A direct charge on your own Stripe account, with nothing added on top and no percentage taken from the session.
  • An unpaid booking holds its slot for a window you choose: never, or 12, 24, 48 or 72 hours, and the client is emailed before the slot is released.
The reminder
  • A text or an email, written once by you, carrying the service, the time on your clock and a link to move or cancel it.
  • It goes in the day or two before, from a daily pass. The client picks the channel, and texts are 500 a month on the paid plan.
  • And the block rule still does something: a 60-minute booking cannot split your 90-minute session into two unusable stubs.
Calendar protection

Where it helps, and where it does not

Say you add a 120-minute session, a hot stone treatment, or a package that runs long. That is when the rule starts earning its place in your calendar.

It helps when

You offer a service long enough that a 60-minute booking would leave two stubs too short to sell. Mark that service as protected and it stays whole.

It does little when

Every service you offer is 60 or 90 minutes. Then the deposit, the reminder and the price are doing the work, and the rule is mostly quiet in the background.

Either way

Synced Google Calendar events block online booking, and booking someone in yourself always works and is saved as an override.

The rest of the practice admin

A booking page on your own link, and no account for the client to create.

Reminders by email on every plan and by text on the paid one, so nobody turns up at the wrong hour.

Two-way Google Calendar sync, so your own appointments and your sessions live on one screen.

Import your client list from a CSV or an export file, with a preview first.

Export it again whenever you want: clients, services, bookings and hours in one file.

A monthly view of what you took and how full the month was, on the phone or in a browser.

And what it is not

No intake forms, no body charts and no treatment notes. A service is a name, a length and a price.

No room or table scheduling, and no staff accounts.

Not a marketplace. It will not bring you clients, and it does not take a cut of the ones you have.

One therapist per account, and no Android app yet.

Questions from a treatment room

Was this built for massage therapists?

No. It was built for one person renting a chair and taking appointments, and a massage practice happens to fit that shape. There is nothing massage-specific in it: no body charts, no intake forms, no treatment notes and no room or table scheduling. A service is a name, a length and a price that you type in yourself.

My appointments are all 60 or 90 minutes. Is this still useful?

Yes, but not for the reason the other pages lead with. Calendar protection matters less when your appointments are similar lengths; what matters more is a deposit that holds a 90-minute slot, a reminder that gets the client there, and a system that takes no commission. That is what this page is about.

Can clients book a 90-minute session and pay a deposit on it?

Yes. A 90-minute service is just a 90-minute service, and you can switch a deposit on for it and off for a 60-minute one. The amount is a percentage you choose, from 10 up to the full price, charged online through your own Stripe account before the appointment. The free tier is 15 bookings a month with no card.

What happens if a client does not pay the deposit?

You choose how long the booking holds its slot: never, or 12, 24, 48 or 72 hours. The client is emailed before anything is released, and the booking is only cancelled once that email has gone out. You get a notification when it happens, so the room does not simply go quiet on you.

Do you take a cut of my sessions?

No percentage and no per-booking fee. $29 a month, or $23 billed annually as a monthly figure, and that is the whole of it. Card payments cost you the processor's own standard rate and nothing on top.

Can I keep my client list if I stop using it?

Yes, without asking us. Clients, services, bookings and working hours export to one file from your account whenever you want, and the same wizard imports them back in. That export is the reason the four questions on our choosing page have short answers.

Put a deposit on the 90s and remind the rest

Two switches and one message. Nothing here asks you to change how you work in the room.
